Love Gives More Than It Receives
Because that man or woman is giving you everything you want is not an indication
that they love you, you might only be an investment that is waiting to yield returns.
Love gives more than what it receives. This does not mean that it is selfish but it is mutual.
What have you and I given to God that made Him to love us so much? He so much loved you and It hat He gave us His only begotten son.
The only way you can love Him in return is to give Him the whole of our heart, not just your tithe and offering when He doesn’t own your heart.
In a love relationship, it is the party that loves the most that gives much, it is not about competition but genuineness.
Can I ask you some questions? What did you give God that made Him to give you Jesus?
What did you give Jesus that made Him to die for you and to make you become like
Him? If you cannot explain it, then give more than you receive in your love relationship.
Lest I forgot, love does not give what would destroy it, it only gives what would improve the life of the receiver.
Do not give your body for love before or outside marriage, that is lust.
