When has nudity become palatable and it’s called fashion? When has the nakedness that God covered in the garden become a thing of pride to be exposed?
God weeps as He beholds the sight of the women folks when it comes to the glory He created them with and their ignorant exposure of it.
In case you don’t know, clothing evolved in the garden of Eden after man fell out of God’s position for his life. When God saw that they discovered that they were naked, He made coat from animal skin to cover them. But today, the reverse is the case, women are sewing ‘fig leaves’ to cover themselves and they call it ‘fashion’.
If not for the disobedience, we would have been just the way God created Adam without noticing that we’re naked.
It’s pathetic and worrisome to those who still treasure decency and discipline to see how women dress this days. God made you to be a man’s suitable help meet, not just in terms of partnering with the fulfillment of his purpose but in helping him to overcome his weakness.
Frankly speaking, the weakness of all men is in their sight. When I mean all men, I mean a natural man that hasn’t been blood washed by the blood of the Lamb. Men are attracted by sight and are easily carried away when they see all that’s meant to be covered that’s revealed by ladies.
It’s lack of knowledge for a lady to wear extremely tight clothes that shows the details of her breast and the size of her buttocks. It’s not fashion when your cleavage is seen by those who are not your husband. It’s shame and not fashion when the half size of your breast is revealed by the clothes you put on all in the name of fashion. Are you saying God hasn’t created you well? Well, that’s what you say if you wear skimpy gowns and skirts that are afraid of touching your knees. It’s not fashion when you seat and a man needs to take his eyes off the shadow that’s seen between your laps.
Not all men have overcome lust and it’s not a thing of pride to say it’s not your business if he lust after you. You’re made as God’s image and not a sex object to lust after. Do you think God will not hold you accountable if you’re the reason a man commits fornication in his heart? Both of you won’t escape His judgment.
Dear ladies, God has fearfully and wonderfully made you. It’s not modest to look hot or sexy, it’s a culture from the pit of hell to recruit more souls to his kingdom through you. Don’t be a reason why a man would be tempted to ‘rape’ or fornicate. I’m not justifying those involved in the act. Not all men have self-control but you can control them if you control what you wear.
I’m not saying you should dress shabbily, but decency and discipline should be your major focus when you’re dressing. You don’t own your body, your mama hasn’t given you what you’re flaunting. God gave both of you and He’ll someday ask how you’ve used it.
Your body is the temple of God but when you dress to expose His temple, you make it a temple of idols for immoralities and sexual perversion.
And in case you don’t know, that all you’re exposing would one day return to dust. Will you use your body of dust to destroy your life in eternity? It’s better you use your body to secure a good place in eternal life and not a cubicle in the chambers of hell.
And to my Christian sisters, who has brainwashed you that you can’t attract men if you don’t paint all your face or wear those tight fitted clothes? Why don’t you allow God bring the right one your way than to attract wolves in sheep’s clothing. I know it’s been a while you’ve been waiting for God for a partner, but indecent dressing isn’t going to bring a decent and God fearing man to you. Wear clothes that covers all that needs to be covered from you cleavage to your knees. Don’t wear dresses that would create an awareness in the street because it shows your body pointed details. It’s not fashion but nudity. Dress to the glory of God and not for the glory of self, fashion or to impress. What you wear must be to the glory of God, whether you’re single or married. You’re not made for man in the context of dressing but for the glory of God. Let God see what you wear from heaven and be glad to behold you and not be ashamed to take His eyes off you due to your folly and ignorance. Influence lives for God through your modest dressing and character rather than win souls for hell and destruction through your indecent and worldly dressing.
